Special requirements for vaccination of rabbits before transportation

Rabbits are given anthelmintics.

Quarantine is not necessary for rabbits except for quarantine after vaccinations. Rabbits do not need to have their feces tested for helminths.

Carrier

It is worth taking a hard plastic carrier for the rabbit in the cabin, because it will chew on a soft one.

Food and water

A rabbit may refuse food and water due to severe stress. For water, it is worth buying a collapsible bowl for the trip and carefully feed the rabbit from it. Be sure to take your rabbit’s favorite treats with you on the plane, which are hard for him to refuse, so that there are no problems with feeding.
