You must inform the airline about the carriage of an animal on board the aircraft when purchasing an air ticket, and also indicate the type, quantity and weight.

Pet Documentation Requirements
- Veterinary passport of the animal;
- Certificate of health of the animal
- Information on vaccinations by age. The last rabies vaccination must be done no earlier than a year and no later than 2 months before departure;
- Certificate of absence or presence of breeding value
In-Cabin Policy – dogs and cats only
Permissible weight in the cabin – 5kg total weight
Сost of transportation in the cabin – $80-150 USD
Cargo Policy – birds and other domestic animals, as well as cats and dogs
Permissible weight in cargo – from 5 kg to 50 kg
Cost of transportation in cargo – $150-400 USD
Approved pet carrier sizes:
in the cabin – the dimensions of the container/cage in length, width and height must not exceed 32×43×20 cm
in the luggage and cargo compartment, the dimensions in length, width and height must not exceed 120x80x80 cm.

Restrictions
Due to strict restrictions on the import of animals into the UAE, Somon Air does not accept animals for transportation on Dushanbe-Dubai flights as checked baggage. Animals are accepted for transportation only through the cargo terminal.
