Rules for transporting rodents in the cabin
If your pet is a small rodent (dwarf rabbit), it can travel with you in the cabin in a suitable closed cage for the entire flight. It must be at least 2 months old and have a microchip.
Please note: the rodent must be placed in a hard plastic cage with a top hatch that the animal cannot reach, even if it is standing on its hind legs.
The dimensions of the container must not exceed the dimensions of hand luggage (width + length + height = max. 115 cm; max. length: 56 cm / width: 45 cm / max. depth: 20 cm).
The following documents must be presented upon check-in:
A valid and up-to-date vaccination certificate
A health certificate dated within 5 days of the date of travel
If your stay exceeds 15 days, the certificate must be issued by the veterinary authorities of the destination country
An international health certificate for animals in transit, issued by the relevant health authorities, stating that your pet has been examined and shows no clinical signs of disease.
