Pet Documentation Requirements
Pet’s passport or required health certificate must be in English.
Attach copies of these documents to the kennel. Make sure to bring the original documents with you when you check in.
Health certificate with a bloodtest if you are travelling from a country classified as high risk for dog rabies.
The kennel must have a tag with the passenger’s name, address, and phone number attached.
A label must be attached to the side of the kennel stating the animal’s name
If you are travelling to the USA: You will need to complete the CDC Dog Import Form. If your dog is between 6 and 12 months old, you will need to complete the form at least 15 days before departure.
Bring a digital or paper receipt of the form with you to the airport.
Your dog must be microchipped.
Your dog must be at least six months old.
The UK government has imposed an embargo affecting KLM flights. As a result, PETC (Pets in Cabin) and AVIH (Pets in Hold) are not allowed to be carried into the UK as passenger baggage.

Cargo Policy – cats and dogs,
The carriage of animals in the baggage compartment is prohibited on KLM flights operated on Boeing 787-9, Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A321neo aircraft, as well as on Eastern Airways and German Airways flights.
It is not possible to transport a pet in the luggage compartment if the transfer time is more than three hours.
Permissible weight in cargo – the weight of the animal together with the cage does not exceed 75 kg

Restrictions – Do not give your pet any sedatives, not younger than 15 weeks. If the rules set by the country of departure, transfer or destination are not followed, then in this case your pet cannot be allowed on the flight or brought to the destination.
