The carriage of a pet must be confirmed with the airline’s contact center prior to arrival at the airport.

Pet Documentation Requirements

Vaccination certificates, import permits, entry permits, blood tests, microchips
Health certificate: must be issued by a veterinarian (original and copy must be kept at the airport) no earlier than 10 days before the date of travel If your dog was vaccinated in the United States, he or she can be imported from any airport as long as it matches the one on the import form, and you must provide the following documents:
A U.S.-issued rabies vaccine form.
A health certificate for export certified by a USDA-affiliated veterinarian.

If he or she was vaccinated outside the United States, he or she must enter through airports that have animal control facilities (ACFs), such as New York (JFK), Atlanta (ATL), Los Angeles (LAX), and Miami (MIA), and you must provide the following documents:
Proof of a reservation at a CDC-registered animal care facility (ACF).
A foreign rabies vaccination form and microchip (certified by an official state veterinarian).
A current rabies serology report from a CDC-approved lab (in English or with a certified translation).

In-Cabin Policy – Dogs and cats only.

Permissible weight in the cabin – If your pet meets the size requirements, it can travel with you in the airplane cabin.

Сost of transportation in the cabin – $100-250 USD

Cargo Policy – Brachycephalic breeds of cats and dogs cannot be transported in the cargo hold of an aircraft.

Permissible weight in cargo – Maximum weight (including carrier and food): up to 23, 32, 45 kg depending on the type of aircraft

Cost of transportation in cargo/aircraft hold – $150-300 USD

Approved pet carrier sizes

Soft container:
Length = 40 cm (15.7 in) x Width = 28 cm (11 in) x Height = 25 cm (9.8 in)

Hard container:
Length = 36 cm (14.2 in) x Width = 33 cm (13 in) x Height = 19 cm (9.5 in)

Cargo animal transport cage: The maximum linear dimension (the sum of the height, length and width) must not exceed 300 cm (118 in), and the height must not exceed 115 cm (45 in)

Restrictions – Transportation of pets is possible only when booking tickets with no more than one transfer and a connection between flights of less than 7 hours.
